False propaganda. US medical services are most likely to kill you. If not, the bill will. I went to the ER in Great Falls MT in 1980 with a heart rate >200. I was denied so much as blood pressure and duped into sitting on a mental ward behind a locked door for over a week waiting for a doctor who continues to deny any testing. Not necessary because it was obvious I had manic depression. No medical tests, just an armful of psycho babble literature. This is insurance fraud, how to squeeze the most money out of a sucker. The source of the trauma was a sinus cyst, but they refused to do any examination or imaging. The flap cost me my career, house and I had to hide for five years with two infants to feed and no income. For the next forty years I tried numerous times to get a good examination but was either refused or the tests faked save one in 1998. I even tried the mecca of western medicine, Mayo Clinic where the female doctor tried to have sex with me before shoving me in the MRI tube. The images were all of the wrong area. Still hurting financially because of this bullshit, I moved to Thailand in 2005. General medicine here is efficient and the government hospitals at least 50 times cheaper. For surgery like the lady had, it's about one sixth the US and ten times more professional. A private hospital is about one fifth as much with a private room. Last year I went to the ER with exactly the same symptoms I had in 1980. They put me in the hospital immediately and implanted a stent. At my age I would not have survived the event in the US I am certain. The US medical system is a fraternity of thieves. Some call the doctors butchers, but that's far too kind. This lady should not have gone to the Dominican Republic. I strongly believe Thailand is the best option backed by 57 years in the US and 19 in Thailand. I paid for eight years university math/science 3.84 gpa with GI Bill by volunteering for Vietnam infantry, a total waste of my life thanks to the US medical profession.
